Air France

In collaboration with Enthoven Associates Design Consultants, several concepts for Business and Economy class bars/galleys for Air France’ new Boeing wide body fleet were developed.
The client’s wish was to improve the comfort of the passengers by adding a relaxation area on their long-haul flights where Boeing 777-300ERs were used in a two-class configuration.
While the Economy cabin left less room for modification, the Business class section could accommodate a bolder design respecting the strict space and regulation constraints and the equally tight guidelines of the corporate identity.
The final design conveys the key elements of the designated Business Class identity in a fluid way through the bar. Simplicity, fluidity, safety, ergonomics and maintenance have been key aspects of the development process.
